DNS:
Our DNS (Domain Name Servers) is where you or your registrar points your domain name. When hosting with HRC4 please use:

  • Primary Name Server:      NS1.HRC4.NET   Primary Name Server IP:      63.148.228.203
  • Secondary Name Server:  NS2.HRC4.NET   Secondary Name Server IP:  63.148.231.227

  • Not all Registrars require the entry of IP addresses.

Email Settings:
Incoming Email - POP3:
Login to your HRC4 Control Panel to configure services. When you create your account a single POP3 box is created (webmaster@yourdomin). Additional POP3s, Mail Forward and Auto Responders can be created or re-configured there. Set POP3 (incoming mail) to mail.yourdomainname.com (or the correct TLD extension). If you need help setting your mail client program please click the email client you use.

Outlook Express     Netscape 6 or 7

Outgoing Email - SMTP:
Set SMTP (outgoing mail) to mail.yourdomainname.org (or the correct TLD extension) This information also displayed in the user Control Panel under EMail. The correct domain name and TLD extension are shown. HRC4 mail servers REQUIRE authentication. This helps cut down on the mail server(s) being used fraudulently. HRC4's Web-based Email:
HRC4 provides Web Based Email for our customers who choose to check their mail from a varity of different computers. With this system you can check your email from any computer with an Internet connection. Login to the HRC4 CP and use the Web Mail icon to configure the mailbox.

Using Your ISP or other Web-based Email:
Your current Internet Service Provider (Dialup, DSL or Cable Service) has provided you with an email address. You can continue to use that single address to check your mail. In your (the HRC4) Control Panel under the Email icon create a single "mail forward" address and set the "catch all" switch to ON.
